Mauricio Morales is a Mexico City-born musician active in the Los Angeles jazz scene. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, Morales moved to Los Angeles in 2019 where he works as a professional musician full-time.
His music is deeply rooted in the contemporary language of jazz and possesses a profound sensitivity for sharing personal stories. This year he is touring to promote his latest albums, “Between Days”, a collaboration between Morales and pianist Adam Hersh, as well as “Seven Days”, an exploration of a week in his life through music. He’ll be accompanied by a band comprised of the finest musicians from the West Coast jazz scene.
Mauricio Morales brings a sound that is both thoughtful and immediate, blending modern jazz with personal storytelling in a way that feels intimate and unforgettable.
